In the last plenary meeting of CLC/CT14 held in Brussel last December 11th 2018 (ref. to TC14/Sec0577/RM), CLC/CT14 indicated to adopt a common ‘root’ family (ie EN 50xxx) to merge together the more relevant technical standards of transformers. The propose of common ‘root’ is to have a single “family“ numbering easily to consult, and maintain: this new coding structure will be enough flexible to accept the future modifications or improvements determined by the future modification of the EU regulation on energy performance or the evolving of the technology.
The working group will take into consideration the following documents:
