It gives the description of the mandatory markings and of supplementary markings which may be necessary and states the manner of applying the markings, viz. on the body, on a flange, or on an identification plate. Markings of the body may be integral with the body or on a plate, distinct from the identification plate. Markings on the body may be integral with the body or on a plate, distinct from the identification plate mentioned above and securely fixed to the body.
