The purpose of this standard is to specifiy the conditions for a creep test on areinforcing steel (rebar), under a permanent tensile at + 23 °C or + 50 °C. It applies to all products based on synthetic resins. It does not apply to the anchoring of high tensile steel rebars such as those used in prestressed concrete. As requested by the manufacturer, the test shall be carried out eitheron dry surfaces or wet surfaces, or on both type.
