This European Standard provides requirements and tests for functions of various flexible, preinsulated, earthcovered hot water pipe systems. The standard is valid for operating temperatures in the range of 70°C up to 150°C and for operating pressures in the range of 6 bar up to 25 bar with 30 years lifetime to be expected. The pipes are classified in relation with the maximum operating temperature and operating pressure which may appear. The standard applies to diameters of medium pipes of de = 15 mm to de = 250 mm.
