This European Standard applies to domestic hot water gas-fired appliances, water-heaters or combination boilers that have : - a heat input not exceeding 70 kW; - a capacity not exceeding 300 litres. The domestic hot water is produced, depending on the design of the appliance, on either the instantaneous or storage principle. In the case of combination boilers, domestic hot water production is integrated or coupled, the whole being marketed as a whole unit.
