This document is applicable for buildings where the indoor thermal comfort is set for human occupancy and where the production or process does not have a major impact on indoor environment. This document is not applicable to buildings where the indoor thermal comfort is set for other purposes like e.g. animals, plants, objects or factory processes.
This document does not specify design methods but gives input parameters for the design and assessment of the building envelope, heating, cooling, air systems and its control and automation systems.
In addition to the parameters, the methods for steady-state and transient cases are considered.
