This European standard specifies requirements for limited use spray-tight (type 4) chemical protective clothing or suits with spray-tight connections between different parts of the clothing, and connections to component parts including other kinds of Personal Protective Equipment such as helmets, as visors, as hoods, as respiratory protective devices (RPD), gloves or boots specified in other standards. The clothing can consist of one-piece coveralls or two piece suits, with or without hoods, visors, boot-sockes or overbooties.
