This European Standar specifes: a) A reproductible test that evaluates body armour's stabbing resistance which can be used by all parties involved with the manufacture and the use of bodys'armour; b) Protection levels based on minimum performance requirements. This European St. is limited to stabbing resistance only. It does not address bullet threats. A separate European St. specifying test methods and specification deals with bullet resistance.
