| Title | This standard specifies the calculation methodology for the evaluation of the amount of energy used for lighting in the building and provides the numeric indicator for lighting energy requirements for certification purpose. This standard can be used for existing buildings and for the design of new or renovated buildings. This standard will also provide methodology for the calculation of electric power requirement for new lighting installations and for the calculation of dynamic lighting energy defined by active facades and lighting controls for use in the estimation of the total energy performance of the building. The standard will be addressing the needs of tertiary and domestic lighting. It will also provide reference schemes and benchmark targets for energy usage by lighting details of expenditure factors and inspection of lighting installations. |
