This document specifies a Common Criteria Protection Profile (PP) for a ‘wallet secure cryptographic application’ (WSCA) as defined in the European Regulation, and further described in the ARF. This PP is developed to ensure that the security requirements for a WSCA component of the European Digital Identity Wallet are clearly defined, standardized, and aligned with EUCC evaluation criteria.
Therefore, this document covers the following topics:
- Definition of the Security Environment, including threat analysis, assumptions and dependencies.
- Development of Security Functional Requirements (SFRs)
- Development of Security Assurance Requirements (SARs)
This document also includes the rationale for the selection of SFRs and SARs, demonstrating how they address the identified threats and meet the security objectives.
