This European Standard specifies procedures for assessments and verification of constancy of
performance of delineator posts, retroreflectors for delineator posts, both as separate products,
and for those combined together in assembled delineators in relation to their characteristics.
These products are to be installed permanently in traffic circulation areas.
This European Standard is applicable to delineators and retroreflectors for delineators, which are
used for the information, guidance, warning and direction of road users.
This European Standard does not apply to:
— the use of colours, dimensions and tolerances of delineator posts and retroreflectors of
delineator posts.
— other retroreflectors (e.g. retroreflectors for crash barriers).
