Give a description of the required information such as content (characteristics of wagon design, operation limits, maintenance due date,…) and its transmission to the expected receiver {presentation format (text, image, and symbols), illumination and receipt of information};
Define characteristics situations of information transmission, their theoretical model and suitable parameters to describe such situations;
Identify the essential transmission parameters to the receiver including their design values considering appropriate safety margins under operating conditions (brightness, colour, size, distance, viewing capacity ,...);
Define principles and essential parameters for information transmission as demonstrated by proven technical solutions
Upgrade the current specifications contained in relevant UIC documents to align them with latest knowledge and practice in order to modernise them and to obtain similar documents for those vehicles as the one requested to meet the requirements of the CR Freight Rolling Stock TSI.
The standard should be based on existing UIC leaflets, RIC or COTIF relevant markings which also have to be integrated.
