During this procedure the force applied to the specimen is measured. The method is applicable to rigid thermoplastics moulding and extrusion materials, rigid thermosetting moulding materials, fibre-reinforced thermoset and thermoplastics composites, thermotropic liquid-crystal polymers.</p>
