<p><span lang="EN-GB">This document provides definitions of terms and symbols to be used in referring to irradiance distribution, as well as requirements for its measurement. For pulsed lasers, the distribution of time-integrated irradiance (i.e. radiant exposure) is the quantity most often measured.</span></p>
