It applies to cross-regional travel activities undertaken for official, commercial or professional purposes, including non-leisure trips arranged, funded, authorized or supported by enterprises, public authorities, professional bodies or other organizations.</p>
<p>The vocabulary covers incentive tourism, corporate travel, business and industrial visits, investment and trade missions, training and study tours, buying missions, temporary assignments, project-based travel, support services, traveller experience, service quality, safety, sustainability and organizational value.</p>
<p>This document does not cover terminology within the scope of ISO/TC 354 or ISO/TC 354/SC 1, and is not intended to define terms primarily related to event management, exhibitions as events, or general leisure tourism.</p>
