Scope ENTo define the basic characteristics of Train Detection Systems (TDS), and the relevant methodology of demonstration of compliance, strictly necessary to ensure the safe detection of Rolling Stock fulfilling the RS TSI (interface characterisation). In particular, the following aspects should be adressed : - Geometric characteristics of TDS installations - Methodologies of assessment and testing off fulfilment of geometric characteristics- Performance requirements for the various types of TDS - Methodologies of assessment and testing of performance requirements
