Scope ENWG 8 is preparing European Standards covering requirements for measurement procedures, measurement strategies and procedures for the assessment of the radiation exposure of people at workplaces and elsewhere. The standards of WG 8 deal with the determination and assessment of hazardous optical radiation exposures. They include the aspects: UV-radiation, visible radiation, IR-radiation, occupational exposure, non-occupational exposure, indoor exposure, outdoor exposure, artificial radiation sources, natural radiation source, measurements, calculations, exposure assessment, terms and definitions.
