NosaukumsThe scope of the proposal is to revise part 3 and part 4 of the EN 50463 and to assure consistency of part 1, part 2 and part 5 with the revised parts. The requirements of part 3 and part 4 shall be revised and changed in order to assure that DCS and DHS can communicate on an interoperable basis. Particularly the application data format shall be specified in order that mandatory fields are uniquely identified and additional data can be exchanged according to an agreement between the owner of the DHS and the owner of the DCS. The encoding of application data shall be limited to a maximum of two methods. XML and UTILTS are possible methods. The communication protocol shall be compliant to EN61375-2-6, other protocols may be specified as options provided that their specification is publicly available and not covered by IPR. The publicly available specification shall be added to part 4 as Annex. The number of specified communication protocols, including the EN61375-2-6, shall not exceed three. Considering that more than one communication protocol and encoding of application data are possibly specified, 1. the DHS may implement at least one communication protocol and one encoding of application data; 2. the DCS shall implement all the specified protocols and encoding
