Projekta Nr.LVS EN ISO/ASTM 52911-1:2020
NosaukumsThis standard aims to give design and production engineers a working basis which enables them to have informed consideration about the use of Laser-based Powder Bed Fusion of Metals. This standard describes the features of Laser-based Powder Bed Fusion of Metals and provides detailed design recommendations. Some of the fundamental principles can also be applied to other AM processes, provided that due considerations are given to the process-specific features. The purpose of this standard is to help practitioners explore the benefits of Laser-based Powder Bed Fusion of Metals and recognising the process-related limitations when designing parts. The document also provides a state of the art review of design guidelines associated with the use of Powder Bed Fusion by bringing together relevant knowledge about this process and to extend the scope of ISO/ASTM 52910 “Standard Guide for Design for Additive Manufacturing.
