This project defines a test method to determine fine particles (FP) and ultrafine particles (UFP) emission rates from 3D printing operation by means of Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) technology which builds three dimensional objects by extruding thermoplastic filaments layer by layer. Test is conducted using Emission Test chamber (ETC) which is controlled by operating parameters to measure emission rate of particles from 3D Printing operation. This test method is applicable to FDMtype 3D printing operation for personal uses and student education.
