NosaukumsThis European Standard specifies the assessment methods for the determination of the performance characteristics for reliability and safety in use of rooflights and roof hatches to be used on upstands in flat and slightly inclined roofs. This European Standard specifies the assessment methods for: • reliability of the opening function of openable elements, • forces to operate and maintain safety • slip resistance This European Standard applies to rooflights and roof hatches with upstands as well as rooflights and roof hatches supplied without an upstand, intended for use on upstands. This European standard applies to fully factory assembled individual rooflights and roof hatches which are supplied as one unit as well as to continuous rooflights that are made of more than one prefabricated sections to be assembled onsite. This European Standard does not apply to: • doors, gates and barriers • windows and roof windows • curtain walling
