This document establishes a way to digitise the Declaration of Performances (DoP) of any product covered by one of the harmonised European Standard developed by CEN TC 129, Glass in building. The aim is to provide the content of the DoP in a European harmonised way and in a unique machine-readable format.
This document is the application of CEN workshop Agreement CWA 17316:2018 to glass products intended to be used in buildings and construction works.
NOTE 1 The term "smart CE-marking" refers to the concept developed in CWA 17316:2018 although the content deals with the information provided in the Declaration of Performance (DoP). The CE-marking is making the link with a particular product and its DoP.
NOTE 2 For glass products with electrical wiring or connections, other directives, e.g. Low Voltage Directive, may apply. As the DoP is a document requested by Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 [1], possible obligations linked to other Directives or Regulations are not covered in this document and shall be dealt with separately.
