This Technical Report gives basic information about the origin of Legionella growth in potable water installations (see EN 806-1) and describes recommendations for preventing the growth of Legionella in these installations. This Technical Report should be read in conjunction with EN 806. This TR may also be used for installations feeded with other types of water e.g. rainwater, processwater etc., if applicable. Other regulations and recommendations may apply. For information on the mechanism of Legionella see Annex A.
