This Standard applies exclusively to cement-based mortars for the construction and rehabilitation of
- drains and sewers;
- public drainage system structures;
- sewage treatment plants.
It establishes specifications and test procedures for mortars exposed to the aggressive conditions arising in drainage systems outside of buildings.
This Standard does not apply to untreated industrial effluent and separator systems.
This Standard does not apply to concrete used for cast-in-place or prefabricated concrete structures, or for ready-made building or civil engineering components.
