This European standard specifies the performance requirements for factory-made clay/ceramic chimney outer wall elements used to form the outer walls of chimneys and which are used in combination with flue liners in site. It applies to clay/ceramic chimney outer wall elements with solid walls or walls with vertical perforations (see Figure 1) which have square, rectangular or circular passages.
