NosaukumsThis international standard specifies methods and procedures for determining the performance of cleanable (pulse jet) particulate air filter elements used in air intake filter systems for rotary machinery such as stationary gas turbines, compressors and stationary internal combustion engines. The procedures and hardware in this standard are applicable for testing a single filter element in a standardized dimension of XXX which operating at flow rates within the range of XXX m3/s (XXX m3/h) up to XXX m3/s (XXX m3/h). Parameters to be evaluated include initial efficiency according to ISO 29461-1, as well as gravimetric efficiency and air flow resistance (energy consumption) during pulse cleaning operation. This international standard applies to air filter elements used in air intake filter systems typically designed for high ambient particle concentrations and therefore uses pulse cleaning as a regeneration method to operate.
