the electrical components of the illuminated signs.
This standard covers a number of different performance requirements that have to be fulfilled
(visual performance, resistance to horizontal loads, etc.), but also issues of lifetime (durability)
are covered.
This standard does not cover:
• signs with discontinuous messages, e.g. using light emitting diodes (LED, or fibre optics),
• variable message signs,
• signs used for temporary purposes,
• test for extremely low temperature
