This European Standard is applicable to all slurry surfacing (roads, airfields and other trafficked areas) and specifies qualitative and quantitative methods of assessment of homogeneity of slurry surfacing.
The qualitative evaluation carried out by visual inspection according to the checklist in Table A.1 (normative) is the primary test method. If there is doubt, or disagreement over the achievement of the classes specified, then the quantitative test method shall be carried out and the results in Table B.1 reported.
The test may be used to evaluate the durability of slurry surfacing.
