This document defines a test setup, a methodology, test conditions and test success criteria that refer to performance testing of single wheel or axle bridge bearing arrangements. Characteristic for such type of applications is that it is the bearing outer ring instead of the inner ring that rotates during operation. Testing in accordance with this document offers the equivalency to testing bearings with rotating outer rings in accordance with EN 12082-1. This document is of particular relevance for single wheel and axle bridge designs.
