Projekta Nr.LVS CEN/TS 16614-5:2022
NosaukumsThis proposal addresses the development of a data exchange format3 dedicated to the publication of data concerning ‘Alternative Modes’, in particular car sharing, cycle sharing, carpooling, car/cycle rental. It is primarily oriented towards static data (describing the service that is offered and associated infrastructure, more than its current running status). The data model developed by the Project team 1711 covers static information for the alternative modes but also data elements from which dynamic information may be derived. It has to be noted that dynamic information is based upon reference data, i.e refers to planned (scheduled), static information (e.g. the availability of free parking slots in a particular parking site is referring to the parking layout structure information, which is static). NeTex itself is dedicated to the static information, thus the NeTEx extension for alternative modes is intended to refer to static information. DATEX II may provide dynamic information (e.g. availability of vehicles in a specific parking), but in this case some of the static data structures have to be harmonised between DATEX II and Transmodel (in particular Parking layout structure). This process is currently going on (Harmonisation of Parking data, between representatives of APDS (Alliance for Parking Data Standards), CEN TC278 WG3 (Transmodel and NeTEx representatives) and DATEX. The result of this harmonisation (foreseen for End 2019) is expected to be an agreement on necessary actions to be able to gather dynamic information provided by DATEX II by NeTEx users.
