This standard is applicable to all buildings and provides a methodology for the assessment of the environmental performances of a building. This assessment is mainly based on the result of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for each of the environmental aspects over the life cycle of the building in the framework of the integrated performance of buildings.
