This Working Group develops international standards that detail the requirements for safe civil RPAS/UAS operations. More specifically, the working group aims to provide international quality standards for operational safety and applies to all types, categories, classes and sizes and modes of operation of UAS. These standards focus on the operation of civil UAS and can be applied by any UAS operator; commercial, state or otherwise noncommercial, where an improvement in the quality of their safety of operation is sought.
