Revision of the common elements in CASCO standards

The Working Group would make technical revision of the document QS-CAS-PROC 33 Common Elements in ISO/CASCO Standards which defines the wording for the obligatory and recommended elements of "impartiality", "confidentiality", "complaints and appeals" and "use of management systems" that replaced ISO PAS ISO/PAS 17001 to ISO/PAS 17005 in 2014. Common Elements in ISO/CASCO Standards is intended for use by ISO/CASCO working groups in the development of ISO/CASCO standards and other deliverables specifying requirements for bodies performing conformity assessment. The revision will not result in the publication of a new CASCO standard or deliverable. The revised Common Elements in ISO/CASCO Standards will remain as an internal CASCO document. It will not lead to the revision of any other CASCO standard on that basis. The inclusion of the revised Common Elements text would only take place once the CASCO standards would start being revised following a SR or NWIP ballot.
