Scope of work
- Standardization of:
- Terminology related to renewable energy systems used on roofs
- Evaluation methods for renewable energy systems used on roofs (eg. determination of wind and
snow loading)
- Development of a CEN Technical Report specifying requirements for renewable energy systems and for
roofs onto which renewable energy systems have been fastened.
- Reporting to the involved CEN/TCs on progress, in particular to CEN/TC128, including proposals to
expand the working group's activities
The working group shall not
- Develop product specifications for
- the renewable energy systems or their components
- discontinuously laid roof covering products with integrated RES
- Standardize installation requirements
