To establish European Standards for basic criteria on Heating Systems in Buildings. The work should include: - Definition and terms; - Outdoor design climate; - Indoor design climate, i.e. standards for classification of thermal indoor design climate; - Design heat loads, i.e. standards for calculation of design heat loads on heating systems taking into account the thermal properties of the building, the use of the building and the outdoor and indoor design climate as mentioned above; - In Cupertino with CEN/TC 89 and 156 to establish European Standards for "Methods for calculation of design efficiency and design energy demand of heating systems in buildings" - Assessing the effect of possible energy conservation measures on existing buildings.
